vSphere Replication and Site Recovery Manager

I would like to ask regarding vSphere Replication with SRM.

Currently the replication of VMs is Site 1 to Site 2 and Recovery Plan is from SIte 1 to Site 2 with reverse mappings enabled in inventory mappings.

If ever that failover and reprotect is initiated, is SRM will be telling VR to replicate from Site 2 to Site 1 or I have to do it manually per VM once that this happens?
