4.1 to 5.5

Hello,

We have 2 vCenter instances (both versions exist on the protected and recovery sites) - one is 4.1, one is 5.5.  We have chosen not to upgrade, but to migrate between the two.  SRM is currently installed for the 4.1 configuration, and we are aware that SRM 4.1 can't go straight to 5.5.  We have built a new SRM server on both the protected and recovery sites, and are trying to figure out the logistics of moving VM's around while keeping SRM happy.  A few questions:

1. Is it OK to have 2 different SRM servers, one 4.1 and one 5.5, both hitting the same storage arrays, using their appropriate/different SRA's?  These are EMC Clariion CX4's, and we are about to introduce a VNX5700, if it matters.
2. I guess each LUN can only be managed by one of the SRM instances, correct?  I'm thinking about the migration period where we may have VM's from both 4.1 and 5.5 hitting the same shared storage.  If this is an issue, we will have to plan to move the VM's to new storage during the migration process.
3. Are there any concerns we should be aware of before we go this route?
