Controlling When a Manually Added Recovery Step Runs

Hi,

I've added a manual step to a Recovery Plan after "Change Recovery Site Storage to Writeable" to run a command on the SRM server.  When I run this Recovery Plan it runs the command CONCURRENTLY with the "Change Recovery Site Storage to Writeable" step!

I need the manual step I have added to run AFTER the "Change Recovery Site Storage to Writeable" step.  Is there a way I can achieve this? If not I will have to add some logic to the script to check that the Recovery Site Storage is writeable and loop around until it is before running the commands I want to run.

I have also added another manual step to run a command on the SRM server after the "Shutdown VMs at Protected Site".  I only want this step to run as part of the Recovery Steps and NOT when performing a Test.  For now I have added some logic to the script that is run to check the VMware_RecoveryMode variable and only run the commands if it is set to recovery.  I would prefer not to do this and to somehow remove the step from the Test Steps because if someone looks at the Test Steps without understanding what the command will do they will panic based on the Command Name!  Is there a way I can remove this step from the Test Steps but still leave it in the Recovery Steps? I don't want to change the command name as it needs to describe what it is going to do when a Recovery is run.

One other thing, it would be nice if I could select which SRM server the manually added steps are run on as currently they are all run on the Recovery Site SRM server.  I have added some steps to be run at the Protected Site after shutting down the servers and it would be nice to get these to run on the Protected Site SRM server.
